Diego Cortizas also holds a masters degree in Restoration of Historical Buildings from the Madrid University of Architecture that has led him to complete restoration projects on the Spanish Development Cooperation office for the Spanish Embassy and the Khuong Truong pagoda in Hanoi (Vietnam)
Recently has finished a technical consultation on the reconstruction of the Catholic Church of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) destroyed by the 2004 tsunami.
